Implementation Plans

Ellipsis can propose implementation plans automatically or when requested. Implementation plans will take the form of a list of steps that can be taken to implement the issue. You can then make the changes yourself or ask Ellipsis to make the changes for you.

Ellipsis has full context of your codebase (and historical PRs) and will search for related code and best practices.

Implementation plans can be delivered as a comment on a GitHub issue or as a response to a message in Slack.

If you want to automatically generate implementation plans for all new issues, you should configure a React Workflow to post a comment with an implementation plan.
